Common Themes in Books

Today I read “More Than Anything Else” by Marie Bradby. Students listened to the story as I read it aloud and then identified theme using our “second teacher” chart and evidence from the text. Theme is defined as the lesson or real world connection the author is trying to convey. Be sure to ask your child about the story tonight. As always, click the book on “Shelfari” for a summary.
